HUMANS
normal creatures with no special powers and have no knowledge of the supernatural world. they are able to breed with witches and other creatures and have the potential to produce a special child as a result. each supernatural creature has its rules about care and training of said child.
WITCHES
humans of the divine; have abilities beyond comprehension, includes herbal healing and connections with the spirit world. these women draw their power from the ancestors and sacred grounds. each has their own "totem" that they carry with them at all times. most of the time it is a piece of jewelry. most of these women come from and have covens they are loyal to, usually of at least two people. these women can only produce females, or if a male makes it past pregnancy, it is usually a stillborn. a male has already been born and attempted, and nearly succeeded, in ending the races of witches and werewolves. witches have natural ties to werewolves. without the witches, there would be no wolves.

mutts are the created wolves. werewolves with no pack ties and are usually vile and carry a hatred for those who colonize and make the rules. mutts, no matter how forbidden it is to create a werewolf through contact, those who survived the change, unless truthfully loyal, are typically cast out by the main packs and required to remain on the run and policed by the nearest pack every so often to maintain order.

former humans turned by the venom of a blood sucker. unlike the vampires you may read in a book, they do not sparkle under the sunlight. they are much paler than normal humans, but most are able to maintain their secrecy by drinking blood off of animals, under the cover of night, or have alternative means of supplying themselves with food. these creatures are fairly new to this realm, yet have always been here. most vampires are nomadic and keep to themselves.
